Types of Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded to international students based on their academic performance. There are two types of scholarships.
- Full Scholarship covers tuition fees (25,500 Baht/semester), program fees (138,000 Baht/semester), economy-class round-trip ticket from home country to Bangkok, monthly stipend and accommodation, and health insurance for four years of study.
- Tuition Scholarship covers only tuition fees (25,500 Baht/semester), program fees (138,000 Baht/semester), and health insurance for four years of study.
Applicant Qualifications
Applicants for the scholarship must have the following qualifications:
- Applicants must not be over 25 years old and must be non-Thai nationality.
- Applicants must complete the application for the SEMI program, pass the admission requirements, and must be admitted to the SEMI program.
Application Process
The applicants must apply for the scholarship when they apply for the program.
Evaluation Criteria
The assessment of the scholarship applicants will be ranked based on the admission requirements, and the offer will be made to the applicants who best meet the selection criteria by the scholarship allocation committee.
Rules for Scholarship Recipients
Scholarship recipients must comply with the following rules to maintain the scholarships:
- Scholarship recipients must work at least 80 hours per semester as assigned by the SEMI program.
- Scholarship recipients must not be absent during the semester without notice or reasonable explanation and must reside in Thailand during the scholarship period.
- Scholarship recipients must not violate any rules, regulations, or codes of conduct outlined by the Faculty of Engineering and Chulalongkorn University.
- Scholarship recipients must maintain their cumulative grade point average above 3.00 (calculated at the end of each semester).
