Semiconductors play a pivotal role in shaping the future of technology. The tiny yet powerful chips are the heart that powers everything from smartphones and computers to medical devices and advanced automotive systems. The expansion of technology-driven industries, coupled with the growing adoption of emerging technologies like AI, IoT, and 5G, is fueling the need for more advanced and specialized semiconductor solutions. This, in turn, creates a greater demand for semiconductor engineers who can design, develop, and optimize these critical components.

This curriculum aims to produce skilled semiconductor engineers to meet the demand in various industries, such as electrical energy, communication technologies, control systems, smart electronics, and nanomaterials, both domestically and internationally. Students who complete the program will learn the foundational principles of semiconductor physics, the intricacies of integrated circuit design, and the complexities of fabrication processes. The program also offers flexibility for students to tailor their in-depth courses based on their interests. Students will cultivate skills in applying, analyzing, and solving semiconductor engineering problems systematically and creatively. In addition, they will be capable of working independently and in teams as well as adapting well to social conditions. Graduates will understand the challenges and opportunities in the industry and be prepared to contribute to the next generation of technological advancements.
