Telecommunication Networking and Systems – TNAS

Introduction Slide Download

Vision

Provide excellent education for our students, and enable them to fulfill their potentials, through innovative research, telecommunication industrial linkage and international collaboration networks, for the sustainable development of Thailand and neighboring countries.

Mission

Rapid advances in telecommunications and networking technology over recent years has been revolutionary. New ultrahigh‐capacity optical networking platforms, seamless integration of wireless technologies including cellular, Wi‐Fi, microwave, millimeter‐wave and Terahertz communications, and continuing evolution of Internet architecture, and innovative data exploitation technologies are interconnecting humans, machine and things together, blurring the lines between physical, digital and biological spheres. This digital revolution has already impacted and reshaped our economic and societal activity worldwide and will soon drastically transform the ways we live, work, and play through emerging application areas such as smart homes/workplaces/cities, smart health, IoT, virtual assistance, wearables, augmented/virtual reality, intelligent transport, autonomous cars and drones. Our mission is to advance knowledge and educate our students through the Master program in Telecommunications and Networking that will best serve Thailand and neighboring countries while entering into the exciting digital era. Our curriculum offers advanced and diverse courses on various aspects of telecommunications and networking, encourages students to engage in and solve real‐world problems from industries or to carry out frontier research and enable international collaboration through scholarships. Students embark on their study at Chulalongkorn university will enjoy support and intellectual stimulation of a diverse campus community, which bring about their values and interests to be better human beings.
