Biography
Jakrapong Wongasulux received his B.Eng and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand in 1999. From 1999 – 2012, he had been worked as Power Supply Design Engineer with CTresearch and later with Delta Electronics. From 2012 – 2016, he was with Enphase Energy as Staff Engineer for designing Solar Microinverter. Since 2016, he has been with Delta Electronics as R&D manager. His focus product is on high power density for various application such as Datacenter, HPC, Networking, 5G Radio, Industrial application. His current research interests include high frequency resonant converter, multilevel converter, high frequency magnetic design and packaging technique.
Presentation Summary
Nowadays technology accelerates aggressively in many areas such as cloud computing, AI, 5G, EV, etc. Those technology drives global power consumption to higher level every day. Not only higher efficiency, but also higher power density power converter is needed to support those industries. This presentation will discuss about general concept and techniques which are widely adapted in power supply industry to achieve higher power density demands.
